The four visionaries of the apparitions in Garabandal
These four children were all healthy, they were of medium height and weight, fit for their age. All the doctors who examined them found that they had no physical or psychological health problems. If we compare them with the children of the city, it was verified that their intellectual development was much lower, appearing to be 7-year-old girls.
Conchita González
He was born on February 7, 1949. He was 12 years old at the time of the first apparition.
Conchita, had at the time of the apparitions 12 years. She was a dark-haired, good-looking girl, full of life and gifted above average. She was the only daughter of Aniceta González, who had been a widow for some years. He had three brothers, Serafin, Aniceto, and Miguel. The family owned a small property at the top of the mountain that was run by the younger brothers. His older brother worked in the coal mines, located in the province of Leon. The whole family lived in a small house that they had located right at their entrance, a kitchen with a rudimentary fireplace. It was here that on several occasions we observed some of the moments of ecstasy of Conchita and the other girls.
Mari Cruz
He was born on June 21, 1950. He was 11 years old at the time of the apparitions.
The fourth girl, Mari-Cruz, the youngest of them all, was only 11 years old, yet was as tall as her companions. She was a homely, unsociable girl. Later, she will be the girl who will suffer the most, and the one that has less moments of ecstasy. After September 12, 1962, her face will show a great sadness for not seeing again Our Lady in moments of ecstasy.
Jacinta González
He was born on April 22, 1949. He was 12 years old at the time of the first apparition.
Jacinta was a charming and very funny child. His parents were among the poorest in the village and his house was very humble, yet they were always very hospitable. His father, Simon, besides being considered a hardworking man, was also a man of great faith. Her Mother, Maria González, was charming as her daughter, but very shy and ashamed. Jacinta is one of the four girls of Garabandal, the one who possessed the most interiority.
Mari Loli
He was born on May 1, 1949. He was 12 years old at the time of the first appearance.
Maria Dolores, named Mari-Loli is the second of six children. His father Ceferino Mazon is the chairman of the Garabandal board, and conveyed an image of respect and authority. He also ran a café, which he owned. Loli was a calm child, but always very smiling, obedient and helping her mother in the daily tasks. In addition, he took care of his younger sister, named Guadalupe.
